Fresh Fish
Bob Chiblow fishes the North Channel of Lake Huron in a area off of Algoma Mills, in the waters around the Turnbull Islands. This, mainly, one man operation has an 18’ Stanley boat, powered by a 50 hp Yamaha motor, generally sets 10-15 nets per set during the season. When fish is in demand we’ll buy from other local fisherman from neighboring First Nation communities. Our primary species is lake whitefish, we also catch lake trout, sturgeon, perch, pickerel (walleye) and other species incidentally.
All of our fish is filleted by hand and vacuum packed soon after it is caught. This ensures our fish is always fresh tasting. Come by 102 Ella Drive, Mississauga First Nation, most afternoons, during the summer (full time in July) to watch me clean my catch, bring a cooler, you’ll be assured to leave with fresh fish and a package of Bob & Ron’s Fish Coating. Great summer food for your family and friends!

Variety pack fish (have a fish fry, we’ll put together a 10 lb. variety pack with fish coating) - $50
