Fresh Fish
Bob Chiblow fishes the North Channel of Lake Huron. This, mainly, one man operation, generally sets 6-9 nets per set during the season. When fish is in demand we’ll buy from other local fisherman from neighboring First Nation communities. Our primary species is lake whitefish, we also catch lake trout, pickerel (walleye) and other species incidentally.
All of our fish is filleted by hand and vacuum packed soon after it is caught. Come by 102 Ella Drive, Mississauga First Nation, most afternoons, during the summer (full time in July) to watch me clean my catch, bring a cooler, you’ll be assured to leave with fresh fish and a package of Bob & Ron’s Fish Coating. Great summer food for your family and friends!
Fresh Fish Sales
Fresh Whitefish (skinless, boneless fillets) - $6/lb.
Fresh Lake Trout (skinless, boneless fillets) - $5/lb.
Fresh Pickerel/Walleye (skinless, boneless) -$10/lb.
Variety pack fish (have a fish fry, we’ll put together a 10 lb. variety pack with fish coating) - $50
